We’ve heard about ‘first look’ photos on a couple’s wedding day, those moments when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, but what about a ‘you’re going to be a daddy’ first look?
That’s what photographer Samantha Boos captured when Brandon Dow’s wife Bri surprised him during a sweet couple’s shoot.
Bri and Brandon stood back to back for one shot, but unbeknownst to her hubby, she was holding a chalkboard that read, “You’re going to be a daddy!”
And when he turned around, Brandon got the surprise of his life!
“Bri seemed to be getting antsy knowing that in a minute she was about to tell her husband the secret she had been keeping," Samantha told POPSUGAR. "I could see she just wanted to blurt it out and tell him. When I told them to turn around, Brandon stared at her board for a second, processing what she wrote. Then he burst into tears and ran to hug her.”
