There’s good reason for not passing judgment on a woman’s pregnancy or baby bump – not only is it not the most sensitive thing to do, but every pregnancy truly is different.

This has been proven this week by fitness and nutrition enthusiast Sophie Guidolin, a mum-of-four who has made the internet do a double-take with her own eye-opening pregnancy comparison at the same gestation of weeks.

Sophie dug up an old side-by-side photo of her pregnancy with one of her children with that of her twins, and couldn’t help but observe the ‘crazy’ comparison herself – her bump with her twins was actually smaller than her bump with one child.

“How crazy is that for a comparison?!” wrote an amazed Sophie, who put her larger bump with one baby down to her ‘poor nutrition’ during that pregnancy.

She explained: “With the twins, my nutrition knowledge was so much better, so I knew how to nourish my body (and babies!) to assist with pregnancy and my body’s recovery postpartum.”

If Sophie’s post proves anything, it’s that every pregnancy is different and there is no ‘normality’ or ‘expectation’ to measure against.
