An IVF clinic in Barcelona is being hailed after it hosted a special concert for its embryos growing in incubators for the most incredible reason.
The Institut Marques asked musicians to get involved after research found that IVF is more successful when embryos are exposed to music. It was also found that the micro musical vibrations can help "support embryo development."

Following the research, the clinic now expose embryos in incubators to musical vibrations 24 hours a day.
Sharon Corr was one of those asked to perform at the clinic, and alongside Spanish musician Alex Ubago, they played to hundreds of embryos.
"I am so amazed about the whole process and how it works and yet, in a way, I am not surprised that music really helps the embryos to form," Sharon told Independent.ie.
"This does not surprise me because music is the greatest therapy in the world so I feel very honoured to be asked to do this."
