A parent’s job is never over, whether that involves tending to cut knees or whizzing giddy toddlers around the sitting room after a day at the office.
Jessica Michelle recognises her hard-working husband’s dedication as both a provider and a loving father, and she took to Love What Matters this week to pay a special tribute to him.
Jessica has warmed our hearts with a video of her other-half scooting around the sitting room, giving his delighted daughter a ‘spin’ in a cardboard box – after putting down a long day at work.
“This is my husband after an 11.5-hour work day! He is the best dad and never lets being tired stop him from spending every night playing with her! He’s the BEST!” she gushed.
The doting wife went on to add: “She loves him so much, she waits for him all day, checking out the window.”
The adorable post has really struck a chord with like-minded parents all over the world, who have helped to make the post viral.
One Love What Matters fan wrote: “It always amazed me that my husband was ready to play with our sons when he came home from work. All he needed was a few minutes to change his clothes and he was ready to go! Great dad!”
Meanwhile, another reminded Jessica that she needs to take some of the credit, too: “It sounds like this little girl has a wonderful daddy AND mummy. Don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back for doing a great job parenting your little one for those 11.5 hours dad had to be at work, Jessica.”
