Need some quiet time? Zootropolis is on TV this afternoon and the kids will LOVE it

The days after Christmas all tend to blend into one. We are living off turkey sandwiches and Quality Street, our dressing gown is now glued to us and we’ve watched the Wizard of Oz at least three times.

However, the kids are starting to get cranky. The annual Christmas walk hasn’t helped and they are already ‘bored’ of their gifts, but fear not.

BBC 1 is  here to save the day.

They are showing one of Disney’s best modern-day movies this afternoon and it’s bound to keep the kids quiet for a few hours.

Zootropolis will be on TV today and you can’t miss it. It’s the perfect movie for all the family to watch. We’re sure you’ll be happy to take a break from watching nothing but Home Alone and Love Actually for the past two weeks.

Zootropolis sees Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde team up to uncover the mystery behind fourteen missing predators.

Their investigation leads them to something bigger (and scarier) than they ever expected.

Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Shakira and Jenny Slate voice the main characters in this family-favourite.

Zootropolis  airs on BBC 1 at 15.15.
