Parents everywhere will no doubt be tickled pink to hear that Lego will be jumping on the Frozen bandwagon and bringing out a range inspired by the hit Disney movie.

The excitement may be a little premature, however, as it has been confirmed that the new toy won’t be out in time for Christmas in the UK.

The beloved toy brand teased fans of the movie with its stunning 292-brick Elsa Sparkling Ice Castle, which features popular characters Elsa, Anna and Olaf the Snowman.

While parents and children in the Nordic and Baltic regions will be lucky enough to get their hands on the fab new toy as early as next week however, UK fans will just have to wait.

Potentially unleashing the frustration of fans everywhere, Lego CEO Jorgen Vig Knudstorp said: “It is definitely across all categories a very strong property, a wonderful movie, but for us, it’s a minor thing.”

Since the announcement, Argos has confirmed that it will be stocking the Frozen lego in the New Year.

No doubt fans of the movie will go as crazy for this new toy as they have for the Elsa doll.

With a shortage of the coveted toy in supply this Christmas, pandemonium has broken out in a number of toy stores as parents struggle to get their hands on an Elsa for their little ones.
