With all the crazy OTT pregnancy announcements out there (one we recently read about saw a couple fire a gun at a keg of exploding pink powder for crying out loud) we think this tongue-in-cheek ‘real’ pregnancy announcement is refreshing.
Reddit user sanepsychotic shared the photo of the (not so) happy family, showing each member coming to terms with the thought of a new baby in their own way.
Dad is looking at the test as if to say, “How did this happen? This wasn’t part of the plan!” while mum’s arms are out in supplication, a ‘well look, what’s done is done, get over it’ look on her face.
And of course in true teenager style the eldest boy is looking on laughing, while the littlest brother looks happy that soon he’s not going to be the youngest anymore!

We LOVE this. While expecting a baby is an exciting time, it’s also one often fraught with worry. Can we afford a new baby? Have we room? How will we cope? In a world of pink and blue balloons and surprise cakes, this announcement is one we can really relate to.
Plus you have to love a family with a sense of humour!
