Laura Trott and Jason Kenny solidified themselves as Team GB’s golden couple after taking a successful run at this year’s Olympics in Rio.
And now they have solidified themselves as a married couple after the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony in Cheshire yesterday.
Laura’s father, Adrian shared his excitement for the pair on Twitter as he said:
“So pleased to announce that my darling daughter Laura married Jason yesterday. Thank you to everyone. A wonderful day”.

The happy couple took to social media today to share the good news with fans after keeping the ceremony hidden from the media.
“Good morning Mrs Kenny,” read Jason’s tweet as he captured a picture of Laura with their two dogs.

Laura also shared a snap from outside the church alongside her bridesmaids and new husband saying:
“The happiest day of my life. With all my family and close friends, I married my best friend. We had the most amazing day and I’m so pleased to finally be able to call Jason my husband.”
The pair met back in 2008 at Beijing’s Olympic games but did not start dating until the build up to London 2012.
