As Team GB celebrated their best day yet at the Rio Olympics, there is one story that is souring the milk with home viewers.
All eyes were on men’s gymnastics yesterday as many hoped Britain would bring home a medal on pommel horse but we got a lot more than expected.
Just a three days after winning bronze in the men’s individual all-round, Max Whitlock took to the floor for his routine with not huge chances of a medal.
To the delight of everyone watching here at home, Max brought home gold.
Heading into the pommel horse, Team GB were feeling confident that another one was on the way.
And it was, adding to his amazing Olympic score sheet, Max Whitlock stepped to the top of the podium yet again as he won gold in the men’s pommel horse with Louis Smith taking the silver.
Great day for the men’s gymnastics team you would think however, many were quick to notice that Louis Smith didn’t seem so happy with the result.
As the final scores were announced, cameras were on Louis to capture his reaction to his victory which many viewers are calling “classless”.
Cameras appear to capture Louis saying “that’s b******t” as he placed second to teammate Max.
Have to say, Louis Smith is classless. Entire ethos of the #Olympics is unity and he's spat his dummy well and truly. Huge shame to see.

As the winners stepped to the podium, viewers were again shocked as Louis failed to congratulate Max on his history-making success.
Did I miss the bit where Louis Smith congratulated Max Whitlock? Thought not. Where's the team spirit there then? #Olympics #gymnastics

In the aftermath of his second place win, Louis spoke to the BBC saying:
“It’s just incredible. I’m feeling so many different emotions.
“I would’ve liked to have got a gold.”
Louis now boasts two silver and one bronze medal from three different Olympics and it looks like this could be his last.
“I don’t know if this will be my last Olympics.”
However, Louis has since taken to social media to congratulate Max .
I'm so relieved. What a pommel final!! @maxwhitlock1 a true champion . So happy to be hear and do my best. I owe so much to my coach Paul
