Kat Zhang, who was born in Texas but grew up in Connecticut, Tennessee, China and Georgia, has been writing in some form or another since elementary school. She studies creative writing at Vanderbilt University and divides her free time between performing spoken word poetry, writing and raiding her local bookshop.
