Having 'the talk' with your kids is not exactly the nicest part of parenting, is it?!

It can be embarrassing and uncomfortable for both sides, but is something that all mums and dads have to deal with a some stage.

Well, unless you're like this couple and have a spare £2,500 floating around that is!

With kids aged just seven and eight, these parents thought they would have more time before having to broach the topic, but alas, questions started coming well before Mum and Dad were ready!

Taking to Childcare.co.uk, one mum posted an ad looking for a 'part time nanny'. however, that's not actually what she is looking for.

"Not sure if this is the right place to ask for this kind of help, but here goes," the mum wrote.

"My husband and I are looking to hire someone to give our 8-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son the 'talk'.

Explaining their kids are at a point where they aren't satisfied with the answers their parents are giving, the parents admitted that "ideally" they would love to avoid the topic altogether.

The couple are looking for a teacher who is registered with the UK Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, and will pay them to give their kids information on but not limited to STIs, sexual protection, other gender types, male and female anatomy and consent.

"All sessions will be at our home at a time when one, or both of us can be in the house," they explained.

"We will not be in the room with you but will be home so the children can come and find us if it’s getting too much for them.

"My husband and I are willing to pay £2,500 to the right candidate who can handle this delicately and professionally. We are also willing to work to your timetable on this e.g. one session a week for six weeks, or all in one session, whatever you feel is best for their understanding and development."

What do you think? Good idea or not?
