The Metropolitan Police are appealing to the public for information following an attack carried out against a woman in Camden on Tuesday January 26th this year.

According to police, the woman, who thankfully survived the horrifying incident, was in the company of her baby when she was approached from behind by two men and strangled until she lost consciousness.

The victim, who cannot be named for fear of reprisal, was tending to her child's car seat when the attack took place in Belsize Park Gardens at approximately 7.50 pm on the 26th.

It is understood that the woman was also kicked with considerable force during the assault and had her wedding ring stolen.

Police in the north London area have issued a warning to all women in the area following the horrifying attack.
