Police in London are seeking the assistance of the public as they launch a search for a 10-year-old girl who became separated from her parents at Canary Wharf Tube Station this morning.
It has been established that the girl, who has not yet been named, was on the Jubilee Line travelling towards Canada Water when she went missing.
Taking to social media to raise awareness of the incident, police wrote: "Can you help? 10-yo girl separated from parents at Canary Wharf at 8.40am. Got on Jubilee line toward Canada Water."
Providing a detailed description of the child to the public, the post continued: "Long black hair. Glasses. Grey puffa with flowers on. White top with pink and blue lines.Grey leggings with grey stars. Black Ugg boots."
The search continues as droves of Twitter users spread the message online.
