Police in Gloucester have launched an appeal after a 10-year-old girl failed to arrive at school this morning.
It is understood that Chemmie Emery left her home on Dorney Road this morning, but did not arrive at Linden Primary School.
It has been established that Chemmie's school is approximately 500 meters from her home and it usually takes the child approximately six minutes to complete the journey.
Chemmie is described as 5 foot in height with wavy blonde hair.
When last seen, Chemmie was wearing a red sweatshirt, white polo shirt and black trousers and carrying a blue bag.
The Gloucester Police took to Facebook shortly before noon today to appeal for information leading to Chemmie's safe return.
Members of the public have been urged to come forward.
Update: 13.30 Police have announced that Chemmie has been found safe and well.
