A pregnant woman has survived and delivered her baby early this week, after being involved in a horrific car crash in the States.
Brittany Beaudoin was being driven home from a doctor’s appointment by her husband, Dennis, when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Greg Beaulieu crossed their path.
Camera footage of the shocking incident recorded Brittany being thrown from the car upon impact, with Mr Beaulieu also being ejected from his own vehicle.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Brittany was transferred to hospital. While her baby’s due date had initially been scheduled for Christmas Day, she delivered a baby son named Aiden prematurely.
The tot, who was delivered via Caesarean-section, is said to be “doing real well”, although he is receiving assistance with his breathing.
No charges have as yet been brought in the case, but police are currently investigating the incident.
