After an agonising four-year battle to start a family, Jade Hartley and her partner Brett Crisp became pregnant, and the mum-to-be decided to document and share her journey with the world.
After being told that she would not be able to conceive naturally, Jade and Brett faced into the realisation that IVF was their only option if they wanted to have children. As captured in this video, Jade began the IVF process, although she was not successful until her second attempt.
Jade’s snapshots give a warts-and-all account of her IVF journey, from the setbacks to the effects of the medication, but they also capture her delight when she finally falls pregnant.
Joyful highlights from Jade’s journey include announcing her pregnancy to her mother, and breaking into her ‘pregnancy piggy bank’ to buy clothes for her tot.
Her final message is inspiring and will instil hope among other couples struggling to conceive: “Dreams do come true. Never give up.”
