While we may hope our children have little more to fret about than making it to school on time and completing their homework by a given date, it appears an astonishing number of children in the UK harbour concerns which are more akin to an adult's worries.
According to a recent survey which harnessed the opinions and perspectives of 1,000 children across the UK, our little ones are not immune to money worry with many admitting they experience a sense of disquiet when considering their family's financial status.
The survey, which was conducted for VoucherCodes, surveyed children aged between five and 18-years-old, and revealed that money woes have the potential to filter throughout an entire family - a subject matter which can leave many children feeling anxious and uneasy.
According to the research, a massive 33% of children surveyed admit they tend to worry about their family's finances while 10% reveal they fear their family does not have enough money.
Further to this, the survey reveals that almost one-third of parents often discuss financial stability and money management with their children - something which may not come as a surprise considering the economic downturn in recent years.
Do you think financial stability is something which concerns the little people in your life?
