A brand new vversion of an all-time favourite dessert
450ml custard, home-made or good quality shop-bought
85g marzipan, good quality
Pour the custard in a saucepan and heat it until it almost boils.
In the meantime, shred the marzipan with a grater and mix it with the hot custard. Let it melt while stirring continuously until the custard reaches a smooth consistency.
Serve while still hot along with your pudding or fruit pie of choice.
