Herb and garlic bread

A classic childhood favourite with soft bread and delicious flavours.
115g butter, softened
2 tbsp flat leaf parsley, chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
½ tsp salt
1 soft large baguette
Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas mark 5.
In a small bowl combine the butter, parsley, garlic, salt, and a dash of black pepper.
Without cutting through to the bottom, cut the baguette into slices.
Generously spread the butter mixture between slices.
Wrap the baguette in kitchen foil and bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
Serve warm.
