After moving in with her boyfriend of seven months Dan Hooper, Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh has revealed that they are already talking marriage and children.

Kym has three children; David aged 19, Emilie age 17 and Polly age three. However Kim has suffered severe medical problems and a heartbreaking loss.

In 2009, Kim lost her son Archie, who was born 18 weeks premature. After the birth of her daughter Kim had to undergo a womb procedure which has left her unable to have more children.

“Sadly I can't have any more children,” Kym explained.

"Before I met Dan I was having some severe health problems and doctors told me I had two options – a hysterectomy, which they didn't want to do as I am still young, or an ablation of the womb, which basically removes the womb lining.”

“When they did the operation they asked me if I wanted anymore children and I said no because I was in a different place then.”

Following her whirlwind romance with Dan however, things have changed.

“Having kids for me is really traumatic; I didn’t want what I went through with Archie. But now I’ve met Dan we’re a bit upset as we would have loved to have kids together in the future.”

The couple are going to wait a few years to settle in, buy Kym reveals that friends have already volunteers to be their surrogate.

“Ourfriends have already told us they’d have our baby for us!” Kym said. “Later down the line, when we’ve had a couple of years together, we’ll think about that.”
