According to numerous emerging reports, two school children from Worcestershire have fallen victim to the latest storm to hit the UK this year.

It has been established that emergency services were called to the village of Bretforton near Evesham at approximately 9am this morning after a brick wall collapsed on two youngsters who were making their way to school.

The children, who were in the company of their mother at the time of the devastating accident, were airlifted to hospital having been buried beneath the rubble of a garden wall which is understood to have measured approximately 10 feet in height.

The youngsters, who are aged five and seven, are being treated in Birmingham Children's Hospital for serious leg injuries.
