Former JLS member Aston Merrygold has shared a very sentimental pregnancy milestone with his fans.
The father-to-be took to his social media accounts to announce that his girlfriend’s due date is less than four months away.
He posted a photo of his girlfriend’s bump and wrote on his Instagram, “Not just Monday motivation for me, but a new daily motivation in life! Love these 2. Just 16weeks left little one till we get to meet you! FAILURE ISN'T AN OPTION when it comes to providing for you both! Daddy has FULLY got you!”
Aston says he is excited about the next chapter of his life, “I'm never speechless but words can't describe how I feel. All I know is there's no feeling like it! Sarah, I promise to be the best daddy ever to our baby boy/girl.”
The star is currently competing in BBC reality show Strictly Come Dancing, he is one of the top competitors on the show.
He may be spending hours rehearsing for the competitive dance show with professional dancer Janette Manrara, but the dad-to-be says he cannot wait for January so he can become a father.
He is ready to embrace fatherhood and has vowed to be the greatest dad to his future son or daughter.
Back at the beginning of September, Aston and Sarah announced their huge news in a sweet and creative Instagram post.
He shared a photo of the pair sitting at their dinner table. The table is set for three people and there is a reserved sign at one seat for their future baby. The photo also features their tiny tots ultrasound.
A sign in the background read, “Could be pink, could be blue, all we know is that we’re due.”
He wrote, “On May 29th 2017 we found out that our lives were going to change forever! This secret has been so hard to keep, but I'm so excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody that me and my beautiful lady @sarahlourichards are going to be parents. I’m never speechless but words can't describe how I feel. All I know is there's no feeling like it! Sar I promise to be the best daddy ever to our baby boy/girl. You are an amazing woman and going to be the greatest mum to our child! Thank you for continuously making me the happiest man ever! I love you. Hurry up bump we can't wait to meet you.”
Aston revealed that the parents-to-be won’t be finding out the sex of their baby, who is due in January 2018.
Aston met girlfriend Sarah when she was a backing dancer for his band JLS. They have been together for five years.
