One dog is enough for anyone, right?

This wasn't the case for Bethany Coleman, although how she came to be the owner of two identical hounds wasn't her choice.

While out walking with her pet, Rogue, the pair bumped into a second dog named Beast.

Beast had been hanging out in at the local farmers market with Last Hope K9 Rescue, with other dogs looking to be adopted.

They two canines took one look at each other and it was love - something Bethany realised straight away.

Plus the fact that the two dogs were pretty much identical.

But Bethany was not looking to add to the family - they already had two cats as well as Rogue.

Bethany said, ''Tyson, my boyfriend aka the dad, really wanted another dog but I was not about to add one more animal to the mix.''

But that decision was taken out of Bethany's hands

If Rogue was going to have his way, Beast was going to join the family.

Bethany said, ''he was Rogue’s twin. They also got along and immediately started playing with one another. So right then and there I started filling out the paperwork.''

The puppies are settled into their new home together now and couldn't be happier - what a cute ending to a sweet story.
