Understanding just how much her son wanted a brother, Kate admitted that she started crying because she was sad for him.
“I kept the answer in an envelope for weeks,” she explained to ABC News.
“I had some trepidation before the reveal knowing all the kids guessed the baby would be a brother. Jack was really eager to have a little brother since he often complains there are so many girls in our house.”
However, when the young boy was told that another girl meant there would be more one-on-one time with his dad he perked up.
