Proverbs, cliches, sayings...whatever you call them, chances are you're well familiar with them at this stage.
But the same can’t be said for kids. Not this kid, at least.
Sharing the assignment on Reddit, user Haggysack wrote: “One of my friends just sent me her kid’s homework. After the answer at the bottom, I realise this kid is going places.”
The assignment provided parts of well-known sayings and asked the kids to finish them. Naturally, the answers were real crackers - but they suggest a young mind that's seriously wise to the world!
For instance, there's this: “People in glass houses…are rich.”
And the epic: “All work and no play makes Jack…happy.”
