This mums Lifetime Memory Journal business idea is so sweet

When we look at our babies, all we want is to document every moment so we don’t forget. The photos capture some of the memories, but how can we capture their personalities, their feelings at all the different stages of their lives? Sometimes we can feel it slipping away all too quickly with the rush of life passing us by.

But what if there was a way to capture them at every point of their lives, to know what they were thinking, how they feel about their lives? Mum Lisa Daly who has set up ‘This is You’  may have found a way to do it with her gorgeous new business that she set up over lockdown, creating the perfect gift for new mums and babies.

This is You launched in March, with Lisa founding the business from her home in County Limerick. A busy stay-at-home mother of five, with young kids ranging from 1.5 years right up to 10 years old, this was the year she finally found the nerve to bring her idea to life.

The This is You journal is a keepsake collection, designed to function as a Lifetime Memory Journal to record all of your kids memories through the years from 0 to 21 years old and intended to be gifted to them on their 21st Birthday. Such a sweet idea!

As a stay-at-home mother with five kids, she understands that life can sometimes get in the way of us appreciating the small moments with our kids – but this journal helps us to appreciate and capture them, especially when life starts moving fast. Lisa’s father suffered a major stroke in December so she’s been back and forth to Dublin with her siblings and mother any chance she can get to try and visit him, on top of looking after five kids and starting a new business. What a super mom!

Her business’ Instagram account is growing every day with nearly 7k followers already, sharing her life and promoting her products on it. The journal itself has been endorsed by lots of well-known influencers including Lisa Jordan, Rosanna Davidson and many more. It’s such a stunning gift for new mums and their babies that we just couldn’t help but share!

Lisa introduced the product on her page back in March, calling it her ‘6th baby’!

‘Here it is... my 6th baby!! A Lifetime Memory Journal from 0-21 years old. A gift to give your loved one on their 21st Birthday!!

‘Since Noah, my eldest, was born and for the rest of the kids since, I have had a notebook thrown in a drawer, where I’ve always taken down their major life events, funny things they have said, important medical info, special times, Santa visits, school and sporting events etc.. I’ve always wanted to put it together properly though as I'm a bit hit and miss with it and I can proudly say I have finally done it.

This book is intended to record everything you want to record about your child or loved one through their life and handed over as a gift to them on their 21st!! I’ve put a lot of work into it so I really hope you will all like it too.’

Such a cute idea and well worth investing in for the memories alone. Check out Lisa’s Instagram page here and her website where you can buy the journal here!
