Little Noah was born at 29 weeks by emergency C-section on February 8, after his mum developed severe pre-eclampsia

Continuing with the pregnancy was far too dangerous for both Noah and his mum, Maggie Wright.

"We were devastated and terrified, but knew we had to do what is best for our baby," Maggie said.

Since his birth, his parents had been spending every minute in the NICU with the little boy.

After a stressful few weeks, they decided to visit one of their favourite places,Tybee Island in Georgia.

While they were there, they visited the local aquarium.

They struck up a conversation with the lady at the front desk who told them about one of the aquarium's special residents, a sea turtle named Alkie.

The woman asked if they had children and they showed her a picture of Noah, explaining that he was a premature baby.

Maggie was surprised by what happened just as they were about to leave the aquarium.

"We were heading out the door when she rushed up to us, handing me a bag with a stuffed animal sea turtle."

She said: "Alkie came to us when he was tiny and weak, and now he is big and strong. Noah will get there, too.

"Little does she know how much we needed to hear this right now. Little does she know how grateful we are.

"Later, we realised there was a note in the bag as well, wishing Noah luck and telling him to come visit Alkie when he is old enough.

"This is one of many stories I cannot wait to tell Noah when he gets older," Maggie said.

"The stuffed animal is a great reminder of her kindness.

"It just goes to show how even the smallest gestures can make a huge impact. And this was no small gesture."
