Our thoughts and prayers are today with all those affected by a fatal road accident that occurred on the A34 in Berkshire, England yesterday.
Thames Valley Police released a statement confirming that there were four fatalities in the crash, which involved ‘four heavy goods vehicles and four cars’.
According to a report by the BBC, a 45-year-old woman and three children – two boys, aged 11 and 13, and a girl aged 11 – lost their lives in the accident. No names have as yet been released.

A man was airlifted to hospital for treatment, while a further 11 people were reported to have endured minor injuries in the accident.
A 30-year-old man has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Senior Investigating officer Inspector Andy Storey has appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to get in touch with police as soon as possible.

“Anyone who has information which could assist the investigation should call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101, quoting URN 1109 10/8,” he said, in a statement.
