You know how it goes: “Come on now you’re married, it’s time to make babies. Get to it!”
But why is it when a couple has been together for a certain amount of time, or reached a certain age, suddenly people think they have the right to flippantly demand when they’re going to start a family?
Annoying right? And not just annoying, totally tactless. For all these people know, the couple may have been trying for quite some time, or suffered miscarriages – and so these throwaway, well-meaning comments can actually end up being quite devastating!
Well, tired of the incessant baby-making questioning from their relatives, one legend of a couple found an ingenious way to put it to rest.
Newlyweds Matt and Abby set up a hilarious ‘baby’ photoshoot complete with pram, adoring gazes and blanket swaddling. Except the ‘baby’ was in fact their (ridiculously cute) new puppy!
The gorgeously bonkers snaps were taken by photographer Elisha Minette and posted to her Facebook page with the caption “Abby & Matt would like to introduce their little baby Humphry.
Aren't they a gorgeous little family??!!”
Gotta love a couple with a sense of humour – plus we have a sneaking feeling the stunt made their relatives think twice about their haranguing!
