Trevion and Joanie were high school sweethearts.
After tying the knot, they became the proud parents of four beautiful girls, aged 20, 17, 10 and 8.
So when Joanie was diagnosed with a medical condition that would supposedly prevent any future pregnancies, they weren’t too cut up. Their family, as far as they were concerned, was complete.
But some seven years later, they visited the same doctor who told them they’d have no more kids, and got the biggest shock of their lives – Joanie was pregnant again!
Not only that but, after an ultrasound, they learned they were having identical triplets – something that is statistically highly unlikely.
Because of Joanie’s short stature, doctors feared all three wouldn’t survive, but they did. And despite a tough start – they were born teeny-tiny at just three months – they were all little fighters.
It’s now 18 months since they made their entrance into the world, and Devon, Bryce and Miles are all thriving.
It’s hard to believe there was a time when their arms could fit through their daddy’s wedding band.
