We are sending huge congratulations today to Paddy McGuinness and his wife, Christine, who have announced they are expecting baby number three.

Paddy, who is the host of Take Me Out, and Christine are already parents to three-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and are “over the moon” to be expanding their brood.

Opening up about her pregnancy exclusively to OK! magazine, Christine said: "I went downstairs and just said to Paddy: ‘I’m f*cking pregnant, we’re having another baby in September!”

The mum-of-two has admitted that she is taking more precautions this time around after she had a miscarriage scare with the twins that, thankfully, turned out to be a blood clot in her womb.

“I was cleaning the house and I suddenly felt a big gush between my legs and there was blood everywhere. I was alone on the toilet crying my eyes out,” she explained.

“I’d only just found out it was twins so I called Paddy crying and said 'I’ve lost them’. I couldn’t talk, I didn’t want to flush the toilet because I was convinced that my babies were in there.”

Thankfully the babies were born happy and healthy.
