Myleene Klass said she fears for her and her daughters' safety after her mum and sister were attacked on the street.

Speaking on the panel of TV show Loose Women this week, the former Hear’Say singer urged members of the public to help find the man who attacked the two women.

The celebrity said her 67-year-old mother Magdalena is now “on the edge” and constantly in tears.

Myleene said, “I am very, very angry about it because he chose a very good target. My mum is only five foot two.”

She added, “I try and keep my wits about me and I am also always with my two girls. I make sure we have this bubble around us but it's always the unexpected that's hard to prepare for.”

Myleene said the culprit dragged her pensioner mother along the ground and attempted to steal her sister’s handbag on a London street earlier this year.

The suspect eventually fled the scene empty-handed but only after Myleene’s sister was assaulted. The women were not injured in the incident but were left very shaken.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man in connection with the incident.

Singer-turned-TV personality Myleene, who has two daughters Ava, six and Hero, two, is hoping the images might encourage witnesses to come forward.

She said, “I am horrified by what happened to my mum and sister, as anyone would be if this were a member of their own family, and I urge any person that knows anything or can help in any way to please come forward.”
