A three-year-old, her five-year-old sister and their 17-year-old babysitter have drowned in a swimming pool in Colorado yesterday.
Police say no foul play is suspected after they began their investigation in to the incident yesterday.
Police officers and others on the scene attempted to perform CPR but were unsuccessful in their attempts as the three juveniles were pronounced dead by the coroner’s office a short while later.
Pueblo Police Department’s Captain Joe Garcia told The Pueblo Chieftain:
“I think it’s just a horrible tragedy.
“There are some things that, you know, it’s typical when something like this happens that you have to look into but it just points to a horrible tragedy.”
The names of the victims are yet to be released as the investigation into their death continues.
