Taylor Borre is a soon-to-be mum-of-two.

Already mum to her toddler daughter, she is about to introduce another baby girl to family life.

But upon her second anatomy scan, Taylor was told some news which changed her outlook and prompted the mum to upload the following pregnancy snap.

Taylor realises that to most the picture will symbolise a cute pregnancy shoot before her daughter is born, as Nemo, the little fish from the movie Finding Nemo represents a young child.

Nonetheless, Nemo doesn't just represent childhood, he is missing his right fin.

"I had a regular check up with my doctor and he sent me to a foetal specialist. My heart dropped I was so scared, [...] all he said was her upper half wasn't measuring correctly."

"They diagnosed our baby girl with amniotic band syndrome, it's where the baby gets tangled in fibrous string-like amniotic bands in the womb," declared Taylor.

Amniotic band syndrome occurs when a baby becomes tangled in string-like amniotic bands in the womb. This is turn restricts blood flow, affecting the baby's development, and/or amputating the body part the bands have wrapped themselves around.

"On that day we found out our sweet girl has no left hand, it was so hard to hear that, just thinking about how mean people can be towards people who are 'different' and of course not wanting anything to be wrong with your child."

"But I was also at peace, because everything else measured perfect, she's nice and strong! She is our Nemo. She has a fin that's a little smaller than the other, but she will conquer anything her little heart desires to do!"

Taylor isn't upset or angry, because she knows that her little girl is going to be healthy and happy. Raising awareness for people with limb differences, this mum believes that her little girl will never be held back.

"This is not a disability or a bad thing, she will be a little rockstar no matter what! She will do it all!"

Isn't this the most beautiful thing you have ever seen? Congratulations to Mum and Dad too, we can't wait to see their bundle of joy!
