Few things are worse for a mum or mum-to-be than a miscarriage.
Not much thought is given to how mum’s other kids feel though, and little Jaden was absolutely devastated when his mum lost her second child back in 2015.
Jaden had wanted a little brother or sister so much that he’d even asked Santa to bring him a sibling to play with.
So you can imagine his joy when his mum told him that she was pregnant again. Knowing how happy he’d be, she recorded her son’s reaction.
In the video, she hands him a parcel to open.
When he pulls out some baby shoes, he starts laughing, clearly not fully twigging what they mean.
“What else is in there?,” mum asks.
That’s when he finds the ultrasound scan.
“Your baby,” he says.
When mum confirms that she’s expecting another child, Jaden’s laughter turns to tears of joy, and our hearts are melting here.
