Jenny James-Prothro has learned about the genders of her children every time she has been pregnant.
However, after her father Charles passed on, she made the decision to wait until she gave birth to find out.
This was due to the fact that Charles had preferred to be surprised at his grandchildren’s birth, so it was going to be an homage to his memory.
But six months into her pregnancy, Jenny was under a lot of pressure to find out the baby's gender and she eventually gave in.
While she said she would find out, she had one condition - she asked her husband James to make the big reveal in a fun, creative way.
The 43-year-old went the extra mile - and it paid off.
He edited voicemail clips of Jenny’s father together to tell her the news.
The video, showing Jenny holding a speaker, has been watched over a million times.
James' voice comes on first, saying, “Jenny, this is the most special, creative way that I could think of to tell you the sex of our child. But I couldn't do it without a little help.”
Then Jenny's father's voice starts talking, and Jenny's reaction is amazing.
The expectant mother bursts into tears of joy and surprise.
“Hello Jenny, this is your father!” the recording says.
“I want to let you know that it is a girl. It is a girl. I love yah, bye bye!”
We're sure that it will be a moment that Jenny remembers fondly forever, and that her father is looking down at her, bursting with pride.
