Preparing for a wedding is a stressful experience, as anyone who ahs ever done so will know.

You have to organise the venue, food, entertainment, flowers, cake, attire, clothes, music, photographer...we could go on.

So imagine how you would feel when your big day finally dawns and the catering company thinks the event is actually not for another week.

Yes, this really happened and to a couple from Michigan - Mr. and Mrs. Vansledright.

According to the Good News Network, earlier this month the married-couple-to-be were in tears when they found out and went to the restaurant next door, looking for help.

The restaurant, Sonder, is run by Nick Ruesticus, who said that he had to come to the couple's rescue.

So what did he do for them?

Along with his staff, he shut down Sonder for the day and go to work on the wedding banquet.

In an hour and a half, Nick and his team had pulled together a wedding food for 150 people as well as a cocktail hour.

While the menu included a choice between beef and chicken, there was also vegetarian and vegan options for the guests.

How amazing is that?!

The Vansledrigh's did of course get their money back from the original caterer, but they are beyond grateful for the generous people who helped make their special day even more special.
