Seek immediate medical attention if you can’t get something out of your child’s eye. Contact your G.P. or head to the hospital (A&E) if you can’t get an object out or if he seems to be in pain after it’s been removed as the eye could be injured.
Try to keep your child from touching or rubbing his eye. Place a paper cup over the eye, taking care not to have any pressure on the eye itself. Don’t put a bandage over the eye as the pressure could cause further damage.
