Is common sense just not a thing anymore, people?
You never ever insult a pregnant woman, it will come back to haunt you at some stage, it's basic common sense.
My husband neglected to get me anything for Mother's Day because the baby's not out yet, so I got him a present and this card for Father's Day. from BabyBumps
But for some reason or another, one husband clearly thought he was braver than the average Joe soap.
When Mother’s Day came around he didn’t buy a gift for his pregnant wife as the baby hadn’t come along yet, so he thought ‘clearly she’s not actually a mother yet’.
Well that thought process backfired fairly quickly...
In a Baby Bumps thread the mum-to-be explained how she got her own back on Father’s Day by buying a gift and card for her husband, which thanks herself instead.
The card stated: “Dear Mum, I don’t say it enough, thank you (for everything).”
But mums and mums-to-be in unison joined the chat, revealing their significant others’ fails on the national holidays, and how the mums can get their own back...
And we’re not going to lie, we kind of laughed out loud - A LOT!
