Attending your child's nativity play is one of the sweetest and often one of the funniest Christmas outings.

Watching them prance around on stage and sing along to festive tunes is so heart-warming.

As their children grow up the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can look forward to experiencing many magical family moments, especially during Christmas time.

Prince William recently revealed that they attended George’s first nativity play.

During a visit to Manchester, William opened up about the adorable family moment, “I went to my boy's nativity play. It was funny.”

What we all want to know is what role George played in the play.

The proud dad revealed that his son was a sheep- How adorable!

We can’t even begin to imagine how cute the four-year-old royal looked.

Prince William shared the information during a trip to the BBC's Bridge House in Manchester. Kate also joined him on the official visit.

During his visit, William delivered a powerful speech at The Children’s Global Media Summit. He praised the people of Manchester for their strength throughout the past year.

“Manchester has had a tough year and I personally stand in awe of the way the people of Manchester have united in bravery and support of one another.”

He added, “This community is a great example to all of us, wherever we are from.”
