While you might not think it now, in a few years time you will struggle to remember your pregnancy and regret not taking a few notes to help jog it a little.

So right now, as you carry your little one inside you, you need to document as much of it as you can so in a few years time you don't regret not taking a few candid shots. However, you don’t need to simply rely on photographs, there are so many other, fun and creative ways to do it.

Send baby an email

Set up an email account for your baby and email them every kick, wriggle, craving and pain that you feel. When your little one is older both you and them can sit down and read over the emails together, while you fondly remember things you no doubt forgot about.

Snapshots of your bump and fruit

For each different stage hold up a piece of fruit that is the same size as your unborn baby. When you look back on them you will be able to see how your bump changed shape and size throughout the nine months.

Measure your belly size

Each month, measure the size of your bump with a measuring tape and write down each result in a diary.

Photograph your cravings

Ok so this one might sound a little crazy but you are never going to remember the exact combination of foods that you craved throughout your pregnancy, so take a photograph of it.

Start a diary

Document your 40 weeks the old fashioned way, by putting pen to paper. Write down your feelings, both good and bad, what you ate, where you went, what you wore, so that you will remember every minute detail of your pregnancy.

Scrapbook

Glue old doctor appointment notes, baby recipes, pictures, memos and scraps of paper with baby name choices into the scrapbook – it’s these smaller types of things that you will forget all about in a few years.

Start a blog

Everything is online these days so why not share your pregnancy experience stories with the rest of your friends and family by setting up a blog. You can pop up a few photos of your various pregnancy stages and places you have been to.
