Chocolate crunch
Makes a nice dessert that kids absolutely love.

200g plain flour

200g granulated sugar

100g butter, melted

50g cocoa powder

100g nuts of choice, smashed a bit or chopped

Grease a 23cm baking tin with a little vegetable oil.

Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas mark 4.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar and cocoa.

Add the melted butter to the mixing bowl.

Using your fingers, mix it all together until it has a crumble texture.

Add in the nuts and mix well.

Pour the mixture into the tin then pat down a bit to compact it.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes.

When it comes out, slice and serve hot or cold.
