A mum recently had her first child without knowing she was pregnant – after being told she would never be able to have a child.
On August 28 Brooke Williams woke at 7am with a seizure. Her husband Calvin quickly called 911 and she was rushed to hospital, where the space of five short hour, Brooke had five more seizures.
Upon taking her bloods, doctors notice something unexpected. Brooke was in fact 35 weeks pregnant, a total shock to her and Calvin.
So after stabilising Brooke, doctors went ahead with a c-section, resulting in the birth of a healthy baby girl Gracie Mae.
Yep, the family went in as two and left with an extra member!
The couple never thought they would be able to have a child; as a child Brooke had cancer, and doctors told her she could never become pregnant.
So how could they not have spotted she was so heavily pregnant?
Well, according to the couple, as a result of the cancer Brooke gets irregular periods that can at times be non-existent for months, and as well as this, she felt fine throughout the pregnancy with no morning sickness whatsoever.
Crazy stuff!
Now the couple, who say they are financially unprepared for a baby, have set up a GoFundMe campaign, to give their baby girl her best start.
