Brussels sprouts chiffonade

A delicious new way to enjoy brussels sprouts and bacon
300g Brussels sprouts, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
20g butter
2 shallots, finely chopped
1 cloves garlic, crushed
50g smoked bacon, chopped
Finely shred the Brussels sprouts with a food processor or a kitchen knife.
Put the oil and butter in a frying pan and turn on the heat. Add the shallots, the garlic and the bacon. Cook until the shallots become soft, which should take 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the shredded Brussels sprouts. Sauté until they are thoroughly cooked (about 5 to 10 minutes).
