Caramel apple crumble

8 eating apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
6 tbsp creme du leche
50g plain flour
50g porridge oats
50g cold butter, chopped
Preheat the oven to 180°C/ gas 6. Tip the apples into a saucepan with a splash of water, cover, then cook for 4-5 minutes-stirring now and then until hust soft. Stir in 3 tbsp of the caramel and then spoon into the pie dish.
Combine the flour and oats, then rub in the butter with your fingers until the mixture begins to resemble crumbs. Stir in the rest of the caramel, then cover the apples with the crumble.Place in the oven to bake for 18-20 mins until golden and crunchy on top.
