The tomatoes give a nice sweet taste after the steak and peppers. Cook your meat depending on your preference.
65ml olive oil
50ml soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
Pinch black pepper
1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
2 large red pepper
2 large green pepper
2 red onion, sliced
12 cherry tomatoes
About 12 bamboo or wooden skewers
Heat your grill on a medium to high temperature.
In a large bowl, mix the oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger and black pepper together in a bowl.
Add in your beef steaks and use your hands to coat in the marinade. Leave to chill in the fridge for a day.
Soak your skewers in water to prevent them burning on the grill.
Cut your vegetables into chunks. Poke the skewers through the beef, peppers and onion, finally topping with the cherry tomato. Be careful that you don’t poke yourself with the skewers.
Don’t squash them together on the skewers as they won’t be able to grill properly.
Pour any remaining marinade over the skewers and place on a wire rack under the grill for 10 minutes. Keep turning to ensure they are evenly cooked.
Remove and serve hot.
