Herby garlic mash

Healthier mash with light crème fraiche and garlic for kick.
1kg potatoes, peeled and cut into large even-sized pieces
3 garlic cloves, peeled, left whole
4 tbsp half-fat crème fraîche
Large handful of soft mixed herbs, roughly chopped
Splash of milk (optional)
Boil the potatoes and garlic in salted water until tender.
Drain, return to the pan for a few minutes then mash well and stir through the crème fraîche, herbs and some salt and pepper.
Add a little milk for a softer consistency.
