Simple blueberry muffins

These cake-like muffins are easy and lovely for a treat and loaded with blueberries.
110g butter
250g plain flour
250g caster sugar
2 eggs
125ml milk
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
225g fresh blueberries
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas mark 4.
Line a muffin tin with paper cases.
Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl and set aside.
Mix the butter and sugar until creamy, light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs and beat well.
Add milk and flour mixture and beat until combined.
Stir in blueberries.
Fill the muffin tins 2/3 full.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes then cool and serve.
