Slow cooker rice pudding
A traditional creamy rice pudding with tart berries is a lovely treat for the whole family to enjoy.

Vegetable oil, for greasing

645g cooked rice

397g tinned evaporated skim milk

235ml milk

60g sugar

60ml water

50g dried cranberries, or dried cherries

3 tbsp butter, softened

1 tbsp vanilla

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Lightly coat the inside of the slow cooker with vegetable oil

In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, evaporated milk, milk, sugar, and the water.

Stir in berries butter, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Transfer mixture to the prepared cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.

Stir gently before serving.
