Try making this easy aromatic mulled wine recipe for your guests and family during Christmas.
½ bottle red wine
100ml sloe gin
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
2 cloves
1 orange, sliced
1 l emon, sliced
Place all of the ingredients into a saucepan and simmer gently for 10 minutes, without boiling.
Let stand for 30 minutes to infuse the flavours.
To serve, pour the mulled wine into heatproof glasses.
